About the initiative
Druha We Mnie Masz ("You Have a Friend In Me") is an organisation created by Polish youth to support their Ukrainian peers — high-school and university students.
Our activity focuses on two areas:
- Ordinary friendly support — conversation, walks, coffee together, meeting up.
- School and university help — introduction to the Polish education system, help with the recruitment process, help with adapting to a new place.
How does it work?
These are very difficult times for Ukrainian youth. Our peers have found themselves in an environment they do not know. Soon they will also start school in new places. To make this transition easier, we have prepared a platform that connects two people:
- One from Poland — acting as a friend and mentor.
- One from Ukraine — a friend who needs support.
If you want to help someone or you could use some support yourself, simply fill out a short application form and we will find you a friend.
